CO2 glass tube laser marking machine CO2-100W is a gas laser with a wavelength of 10.6 μ m, belonging to the mid infrared frequency cutoff. CO2 glass tube laser marking machine has relatively high power and electro-optical conversion efficiency, and is currently the most powerful laser. CO2 laser uses CO2 gas as the working substance. Charge CO2 and other auxiliary gases into a discharge tube, and when a high voltage is applied to the electrode, a glow discharge is generated in the discharge tube, which can cause gas molecules to release laser light. After amplifying the released laser energy, laser processing can be carried out.

Precautions for using glass tube CO2 laser
cooling water
1. Please connect the cooling water before turning on the power when using.
2. The cooling water requires a low inlet and a high outlet. Adjust the position of the outlet pipe to ensure that the cooling water is filled with the water-cooled jacket and there are no bubbles in the pipe. It is recommended to use soft water (distilled water or purified water) to ensure that the cooling water is clean, free of scale and other foreign objects, so as not to cause blockage of the cooling water. The cooling water return port in the water tank must be covered with water, otherwise there will be a phenomenon of insufficient cooling water filling in the laser tube every time the machine is turned off. Water pipes cannot be discounted;
3. The temperature of the cooling water should be between 18-25 ℃, and should not exceed 30 ℃. Cooling water flow rate 2L-4L/min;
4. If the cooling water temperature is too high, it will cause the laser mode to deteriorate and the cutting ability to decrease. If left in poor cooling condition for a long time, it can damage the laser cavity lens or cause the glue between the water cooling sleeve and the lens to denature, ultimately resulting in damage to the laser. Especially in summer, once the water temperature is found to be too high, it is necessary to replace the cooling water or stop the machine for a period of time to rest.
5. The lower the cooling water temperature, the better. The difference between water temperature and room temperature should not be too large. If the temperature of the cooling water is too low, in humid weather, small water droplets will condense on the surface of the laser (dew), which can easily cause high-pressure ignition, interfere with the normal operation of the equipment, and even damage the electronic control components. In humid weather, it is recommended to lower the cooling water temperature by 5 ℃ compared to room temperature. If necessary, air conditioning should be used to reduce the temperature and humidity of the ring mirror; The basic principle for determining the temperature of cooling water is to use cooling water with a relatively low temperature while ensuring that the laser does not condense.
6. In cold regions, it is important to note that cooling water should not freeze, especially after the laser is shut down. Cooling water should not be stored inside the laser tube to prevent it from freezing and causing explosions.

7. For users who use AC power, the cooling water tank must be grounded;


operating current
1. Try to work within the optimal operating current range of the laser tube;
When the current is too low, the laser is in the stage of not starting up normally, and the voltage applied to both ends of the electrodes is very high, which causes significant losses to the power supply and the lens inside the laser cavity, and is also prone to high-voltage ignition. Taking a common 60W tube as an example, when it is not lit up, the voltage at both ends of the electrode is around 30KV. After lighting up, the voltage at both ends is below 20KV.
When the current is too high, the burden on the cooling system increases and the gas loss inside the laser tube increases;
4. The working current and output power have a parabolic relationship, which means that in the low current stage, as the current increases, the laser power increases significantly; In the high current stage, as the current increases, the power does not increase significantly. So do not blindly increase the current in pursuit of processing efficiency. You can choose a few current values to try, and when the processing efficiency is similar, choose a relatively small working current.

1. Pay attention to protecting the output mirror of the laser to avoid smoke splashing onto the surface of the output window during operation (including debugging the optical path). The smoking device must be turned on when the machine is working. If the outer surface of the output window is contaminated, the laser power will decrease. In this case, a degreased cotton or silk cloth dipped in anhydrous alcohol can be used to gently wipe the outer surface of the output window; Wait until the alcohol has completely evaporated before starting the machine to work.
2. Some lasers have a thin metal wire connected between the negative tungsten rod and the water-cooled jacket of the output mirror, which cannot be removed without authorization;
3. Avoid accumulating dust near the high-voltage electrode, keep it dry, and keep the high-voltage end as far away from the metal as possible to prevent high-voltage ignition and discharge.
4. The laser is made of glass and is fragile. During installation and use, avoid local stress, especially the tungsten rod should not be subjected to lateral external forces.
